"Kevin Tracewski"

Kevin Tracewski is an instructor of biology at the University of Maine and the author of the popular book, A Fisherman’s Guide to Maine.  He is an avid fly fisherman with two degrees in entomology, whose passion is fishing remote streams and ponds for native brook trout.  He is also a certified casting instructor and teaches a fly fishing course during the winter. However, Kevin enjoys all types of fishing, from lake trolling for salmon to ice fishing, and is particularly fond of fishing with novice anglers and kids. He can also cook a pretty good shore lunch. He learned long ago that fishing is a form of recreation, not a matter of life-and-death. So as a guide, his main goal is to insure that each client has FUN on their trip. Kevin lives in Old Town, Maine with his wife of nearly 30-years, Cheryl.  They have three grown children.
