                   Guest cabin

We have 9 recently restored lakefront guest cabins of various sizes accommodating between 2-8 people. All have fully equipped kitchens with propane refrigerators, ranges with ovens, propane cabin lights, skylights, picture windows that face down the lake, screened porches with rockers, hardwood floors, beds with new, firm mattresses, and wood stoves with plenty of seasoned firewood. Pure Nahmakanta well water is piped into each cabin. The smaller cabins have at least one double and one single bed, and larger cabins have separate bedrooms and toilets. Each cabin also has a charcoal grill , picnic table and a campfire ring in front. There’s a designated private bathroom for each cabin (no sharing) with hot shower,  flush toilet and vanity, in a separate building a few steps away.

Historic Nahmakanta Lodge

 19th century dining room

Our “American Plan” guests enjoy excellent home cooked meals served family-style in the warm, congenial atmosphere of our 19th century dining room overlooking Nahmakanta Lake. We serve a variety of hearty full course meals which include choice meats, seafood, rice, potato, pasta, fresh fruits and vegetables, baked breads and desserts, and beverages (no menu).  We can almost always accommodate alternative diets.

Dawn on Nahmakanta

Dear Don and Angel,
Thanks again for being such great hosts…! Your camps and site looked “top notch” and as usual Angel outdid herself with terrific meals.  We all agree that your camp serves the best meals of all the camps we’ve visited. I’m sure we will be back again…!
